Shogun says he has never been in better shape for a fight in his life and is ready to take back the championship title that he feels he has already earned. Many people believe Shogun was robbed of the title at UFC 104 by a very poor decision loss to Lyoto. As the saying goes “Never leave the fight in the hands of the judges”.

If you are an MMA fan April has been a terrible month..
UFC 112 first open air event in Dubai was a spectacle with Anderson Silva dancing around the ring like a 12 year old girl, and Strikeforce “Nashville” having every fight end in an upset and a disastrous post fight brawl compliments of Jason Miller and the Diaz brothers.
WEC 48 will attempt to make up for what has been so far a terrible month for MMA fans. The main card has two highly anticipated title bouts with three fights that could determine the future challengers for every one of the WEC’s titles.
The event takes place live at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, Calif., this will be the WEC’s first venture into PPV. Jose Aldo will make defend his title for the first time against former WEC champ and home town hero Urijah Faber. Benson Henderson puts his lightweight title on the line against Donald Cerrone in a rematch of 2009’s fight of the year.
