Question by Dsm: How does Strikeforce Promote there events ?
Strikeforce pulls around 5,000 – 14,000 a show however the big dog UFC pulls 14,000 – 20+ easy cuz there the big dogs but anyways how does Strikeforce promote other then Show time ?? to draw people to there events ? how do people here about it ?

Through there website, showtime comercials, and co-promotions. Like there is some Dream vs Strikeforce. In these co-promotions, they get exposer to Dream fans also.

UFC gets more viewers because

* Short answer, the UFC is more established. Not to mention that reality show is on free T.V, so the UFC is promoted better. I think Strikeforce should have gone to ESPN, so it can get more exposer.

1) UFC is more established. Back when the UFC was a styles vs styles, no holds bared event, it was a hot button topic. This gave it a buzz. The reality show saved it, so the UFC is what it is today. Eventhough Strikeforce was around during the late 80′s, its was a kickboxing promotion. Strikeforce did not start doing MMA intell like 2007, I balieve.
